Sad To See

Out today looking for a brown trout unfortunately not one wanted to come and play with me, but the grayling were thinking more about eating than breeding, nearly every run had a grayling in it, it was a real shame to come across the fish in the pictures, not sure if it was from a cormorant/goosander or possible an otter but she had had rather a hard time of it, with battle scars and a lot of it’s tail missing.

Mind I did see this furry little fella on the opposite bank a little further up stream, I quite like to see otters about just not so keen on the flying fish eating machines.
