Well Done Margie

Well Margie wanted to learn to cast a fly and she picked things up really quickly, starting with a roll cast of both shoulders, off the right shoulder it all came together quite quickly, the left the stop wasn’t quite as good, but after around 15 minutes it was coming together, so once Margie was happy we moved onto overhead cast, the real shame today, mind the same as nearly every other day was the strong wind, Margie again was picking things up quickly, the only slight problem was the wrist and the final cast being to low and splashing into the water, but after explaining what to do to correct the problem it all fell into place with really good turn over.

So now it’s time for more practise and get things going even better, ready for the big fishing trip in September, see you then !!

What Margie has to say about her day.

Thanks again for a lovely morning in the river with you, you’re an ace teacher, see you in Sept best wishes Margie.
