Another Day

Another day, another weather pattern, guiding over the last couple of weeks has been rather taxing to say the least, really low clear rivers with supper spooky fish, so today I meet David on the upper Wye, looking at the river it looked to have a little more pace than other rivers I have guided on so things were looking up, the only fly in the ointment was there was torrential rain and strong winds forecast, mind nothing to me any more just run of the mill !!

Well the rain didn’t come to anything, the fishing was a little slow, Davis caught several browns all on the small side and missed a lost a few, the two better fish of the day were grayling all coming to size 18 nymphs.
