Before The Rain Spoils Play

Went to fish my local river today it’s been dropping slowly over the last couple of days and should be at a height somewhere near for fly fishing, I couldn’t belive my eyes when I got there it was low enough to fish but it was very coloured, not a  dark brown but a light brown, I wasn’t pleased to say the least because it is supposed to pour down again tomorrow, so off I went over to the Wye again, but it was really worth it with some cracking sport on nymphs, 4-5 trout and around 12 -15 grayling, one very big fish broke me ( well it’s always the big ones that get away ) I was very disappointed but it was the only fish that got away.
