That’s More Like It

Nice to see Warren again and even nicer that the sun is shinning, last time he came it was rain, gales and high water, even though fish were caught it wasn’t the nicest weather to be out in, but today things seemed perfect, to start off  in the morning the fishing was perfect as well, loads of fish being caught on Duo style and some on dries as well, after around 1pm we didn’t see a rise at all so we got  more mobile and moved from run to run a lot quicker, every run bar one produced fish, late in the day I took Warren to a spot that usually produces fish and good fish as well, the fish kept coming to the fly, but I think Warren’s early start was getting the best of him and I think out of the five or so fish that came to the fly non came to hand, no problem I quite like long distance catch and release.

Mind I did forget to mention in one of the locations he caught a nice grayling and a trout on the same cast, good job we had two landing nets !!
