Will He Won’t He

Phone call of Mick  asking what the river conditions are like some salmon fishing, the river was high and coloured yesterday but dropped and cleared a little over night so he wanted to give it a go.

Mick tackled his Hardy rod and reel up, fast sink tip and a Willie Gun Flamethrower fly and started working his way down a run, he got a pull but from a trout and after around another ten casts the line tightened and another fish gave a pull, this time it felt a little heavier but again nothing the fish had gone, Mick fished around another four to five runs but nothing wanted to play, yet again our lovely summer started to empty out of the sky so it was time to go, so this time it was he wouldn’t !!

But a few days latter on a dropping river everything came together.
